High School can be a scary thought for our year 6 students. Here at Lurnea, we are dedicated to ensuring this process is a smooth transition for all involved; students, parents, carers and teachers.
Beginning in Term 3, the Stage 3 classes will begin their Video Conference lessons with the Lurnea High School teachers. These lessons will be based around the subject of the Olympics and will tie in with what the students are learning in their classrooms. The aim of this initiative is to prepare our students for the high school classroom and the content they would be taught. The students will work in groups throughout each of these lessons to assist in building their skills in working as a team with other students.
