David Sim was appointed to Lurnea Public School in 2010.
Mr Sim has extensive experience teaching in schools in South Western Sydney Region. He has been a Teacher Mentor, Assistant Principal, School Education Officer and most recently, the Deputy Principal at Liverpool West Public School.
Mr Sim has long been an advocate for Public Education and proudly promotes the achievements of public schools within the local community. He is extremely passionate about equity and social justice and believes all children have the right to excellence in education.
Along with all staff at Lurnea Public School in 2013, Mr Sim firmly believes that quality education is achieved by ensuring that every students' education encompasses the following; - Purpose, Hope, Dignity, Opportunity.
